Good Read Safe Ice Chart

I hope every ice fisher out there is always safe by wearing the right gear-PFD, Picks, Whistle, etc. But firstly you must know how thick of ice you should be on and this chart is a good one! Good Luck

how do you measure the ice cause next winter im gunna start ice fishing i went one time this year and the ice was like 5 inches but i didnt get anything and we had 5 weeks of straight 20 degrees in teh afternoon and night it was like 13 i didnt know if it was thick enough but i garentee it was

It probably was,
Just dril a hole and stick a ruler down and check, if possible, drill of a dock
