dead waxworms for bait
just a little info to pass along from this weekend. we had better luck with waxworms that were dead, but still white than we did with live ones. i think maybe they smell up the water a little more. we were fishing water that was a little stained. if the waxworm was black you wouldn't get a hit, but lite brown to white was awesome. and we had better luck with jigs that glowed than we did with the plain silver one side and painted other side. also, we couldn't get hit on anything with pink in it, best colors were chartreuse, and a chartreuse and green/chartreuse combo. anyone ever use the dead waxworms?
