Brett Farve Retires!

Can you believe it? I thought he would go more... What are everyone elses opinions on this?

Yea they'll keep alot of fame for having him though... I forgot about aaron rodgers it will be nice to see how he does... You think they'll bring in another vet?

i think they will start rogers and possibly bring in a vetern to help out

I hate Brett Farve now, the last few years, he went from a guy I respected to a total d bag!

Favre is probably the most dependable QB the NFL has seen... ever. In my opinion he has made the NFL better, and he revitalized the Green Bay Packers when he took the starting job in '94(it was 94 right?) He has been football's iron man, he retired the first time because he was getting the impression from the front office that it was time... He retired for himself when his body told him the run was over. Think about how hard it would be to have played all your life, and then be faced with stepping down before you were prepared to do so... he just didn't know how to walk away.

I like the guy, there isn't another QB in the last 10 years that I'd rather have. Sure Manning throws fewer INTs, but as far as consistency Favre is the guy.

Farve is over rated IMO, he threw so many ints, and was a liability! If the packers would of had a peyton manning type qb, they would have won more than 1 super bowl (just my opinion)
